New highway for Hainan, China

Tinn news: Work is getting underway on a new road link to a busy airport in China’s Hainan Province. The 10km link forms part of the planned 344km West Ring Road, which has a total project cost of some US$4.3 billion. Costing $158.5 million, the 10km section will connect Sanya with the Sanya Phoenix International Airport. The section of road is due to be opened to traffic at the end of 2012, with work starting in June of this year.
