New bus station for Sharjah, opening June

Tinn news: The Sharjah Transport Corp has said a bigger public bus station and a fully-equipped accommodation for staff and drivers is expected to be ready by mid-June this year, Khaleej Times has reported. The new bus station includes several offices for the administrative staff and technicians, along with a workshop for public transport buses, garage with a capacity to accommodate 300 buses, fuel filling station and a cleaning station. Sharjah Transport operates a fleet of 224 public buses on 21 city and intercity routes nationwide.
