Conference on Education, Trainign and Crewing in Odessa

TIN news:   An international conference on Seafarers' Education, Training & Crewing took place on April 23-24, 2014 in Odessa, Ukraine.
It was a large scale and fruitful rally of local and international maritime specialists from all walks of maritime industry who discussed new trends in maritime education and perspectives of seafarers' recruitment.
 
As part of the event, Dr. Peter Swift, MPHRP Chairman, presented on the Maritime Piracy Humanitarian Response Programme, its development and future plans.
 
It was stressed by a number of participants of the forum that the MPHRP has become very recognisable within the industry and is an appreciated organisation which supports seafarers, their families and helps the industry.
 
An exhibition for seafarers, which took place in parallel to the conference, was attended by almost 1000 Ukrainian seafarers.
