Delphi Automotive, Brickworks Limited, Mace Limited

Delphi Automotive has agreed to purchase nuTonomy, a Boston-based full-stack AD software solution provider for the global AMoD market, for $450m.

The acquisition will help Delphi to accelerate the commercialisation of autonomous driving (AD) and Automated Mobility on-Demand (AMoD) solutions for automakers and new mobility customers worldwide. It will help Delphi to roll out 60 autonomous cars across three continents.

Delphi’s AD operations will be carried out in Pittsburgh, Singapore, Santa Monica and Silicon Valley, post acquisition.

Brickworks Limited has agreed to acquire UrbanStone from Schaffer Corporation Limited for a purchase consideration of A$13.5m ($10.54m). All companies involved in the transaction are based in Australia.

The land and buildings currently operated by Urbanstone will not sold as part of the transaction, but leased to Brickworks on a long-term lease arrangement.

The acquisition is expected to be completed by 22 November.

Brickworks Limited manufactures and distributes building products, and is engaged in property realisation and investment business, while UrbanStone is a manufacturer of paving products and Schaffer is a diversified industrial company that manufactures and sells automotive leather, paving, concrete, and limestone products.

YMR Partnership, a Kenya-based construction consultancy and quantity surveying firm, has been acquired by Mace Limited, a UK-based consultancy and construction company.

YMR Partnership will continue to operate under the combined brand name MaceYMR.
