TIN news:  Tulsa International Airport in Oklahoma, US, has completed the deployment of two PowerPost electric vehicle charging stations in its recently renovated parking garage.

Being the first electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) system installed in Oklahoma, the two charging stations will be able to charge up to four electric vehicles.

The customers of Tulsa International Airport can use the stations to charge their vehicles for free.

The charging stations are capable of recovering a 20-mile commute with a four-hour charge, providing electric vehicle drivers with the option of driving themselves to the airport without the worry of having sufficient charge upon their return.

"These additions show our ongoing commitment to be sustainable in the way we serve our community and provide assurance to our customers that their vehicle will be ready to go when they return home."

Tulsa International Airport chief executive officer Mark VanLoh said: “We are excited to offer this amenity to our parking customers.
