Saint Petersburg subway railcar bomb kills ۱۱ in Russia

TIN news:  Eleven people have died after a bomb went off in a subway railcar in Saint Petersburg, Russia, injuring another 45.
The train was travelling between Sennaya Ploshchad and Tekhnologichesky Institut underground stations when explosion happened. It is believed that the blast was caused by a bomb filled with shrapnel.
The National Anti-Terrorist Committee in Russia confirmed that the suspected improvised explosive device went off on the train.
Following the blast, Russia’s anti-terror agency said that another bomb was found and deactivated at Ploshchad Vosstaniya metro station.
Russian news agency TASS reported the Russian Prosecutor-General’s Office saying the explosion as a 'terrorist attack'.

Investigations are currently taking place to determine the cause of the deadly explosion.
Responding to the incident, the UN Security Council members reaffirmed that terrorism in all its forms and manifestations constitutes one of the most serious threats to international peace and security.
They also reiterated that any acts of terrorism are criminal and unjustifiable, regardless of their motivation, wherever they are committed. 
Underlining the need to bring perpetrators, organisers, financiers and sponsors of these acts of terrorism to justice, the members stressed that those responsible for these killings should be held accountable.
