  • Turkish Airlines resumed its flights to Tehran from Friday after six months shutdown due to coronavirus pandemic.

  • During these uncertain times, it is not easy for airline passengers to navigate among the coronovirus-related travel restrictions. The Wizz Air has responded to this problem by launching the new product – the Travel Planning Map, a new website search tool designed to help passengers determine which destinations in the WIZZ network they can fly to at that precise moment in time.

IATA will work through the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) and with health authorities to implement this solution quickly.

  • Tehran Times – Although Iranian airlines have resumed their flights to some European countries following months of suspension over the coronavirus outbreak, there is still no possibility of unnecessary tourist trips to these countries and Schengen visas are not currently issued to Iranian citizens.

  • With the reopening of Paris-Orly airport at the end of June, Air France is adapting its network and progressively increasing its flight capacity. As from 31st August, more than 20 destinations in Metropolitan France and the Overseas Departments are being served on departure from the South Parisian airport. Air France welcomes its customers at Paris-Orly Halls 1B and 3 depending on their destination.

  • Qatar Airways announces the resumption of three-weekly flights to Mogadishu, Somalia from 06 September 2020. Service to the capital city of Somalia will be operated by an Airbus A320 featuring 12 seats in Business class and 120 seats in Economy class.
