CRRC Nanjing Puzhen wins Chinese metro train orders
CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Rail Transport (NPRT) has secured three orders with a total value of Yuan 2.37bn ($US 360m) to supply metro trains to three Chinese cities.
Hangzhou MTR Corporation has placed a Yuan 720m order for more than 20 trains under its Metro Line 1 Additional Procurement Project. Deliveries will take place between June 2018 and March 2021.
Wuxi Metro has awarded NPRT a Yuan 890m contract to supply 28 six-car trains for the 28.5km Line 3, which is due to open in 2020. The trains will be delivered between May 2019 and September 2020.
Xuzhou Rail Transit Line 2 Investment and Development Company has placed a Yuan 760m order for 24 six-car type B trains for the first phase of Xuzhou metro Line 2. The trains will arrive in the city between May 2019 and May 2020 and the line is due to open in October 2020.
