Abu Dhabi road building contract worth $۵۴۵m awarded to Al Jaber Transport

TIN news:          Al Jaber Transport & General Contracting has won two road-building contracts from Abu Dhabi General Services Company PJSC - MUSANADA for the improvement of two Mafraq to Al Ghwaifat border post highway sections.
 
Mafraq is located in the outskirts of Abu Dhabi while Al Ghwaifat is situated in the Saudi border near Qatar.
 
The value of the two projects awarded to Al Jaber Transport is AED2bn ($545m).
"This is a testimony of our great experience in the infrastructure and construction projects."
 
The two projects are likely to include construction of highways and interchanges from Baynounah Forest to Al Mirfa, and from Al Mirfa to Abu Al Abyad. The highway is also expected to be upgraded to dual four-lanes with dumbbell interchanges along the route.
 
The projects will also include construction of stormwater drainage system, lighting system, new contingency ducts along with extension of existing contingency ducts.
