Synectics to design new solution for AOCC at Indonesia’s Soekarno-Hatta Airport

TINNews |

Global surveillance solutions provider Synectics has secured a new contract to design an integrated end-to-end solution for the new Airport Operational Command & Control Center (AOCC) at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The new and advanced AOCC is designed to provide stakeholders, including airlines, with the ability to handle all aspects of operations, such as spanning airside, landside and ground access, at Terminals 1 and 2 of the airport.

With the integration of Synergy 3 command and control software, Synectics’ new solution will facilitate terminal operations by enabling third-party alarms and events, security and process control sub-systems, video, and data to be monitored, recorded, and managed from a single, unified platform.

This will help provide a complete situational awareness across all aspects of terminal operations at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.

As part of the AOCC solution, systems integration will involve cameras, facilities management, access control, building management, fire alarms, airport operational databases (AODB) and intelligent video analytics (IVA).

"Developing trusted relationships based on a deep understanding of sector and customer needs is the cornerstone of our business proposition."

The customisable user interface and user-driven dynamic workflows of Synergy 3 will be in line with state-owned airport services company PT. Angkasa Pura II’s (AP II) standard operating procedures (SOPs).

This will enable the Synectics solution to be most suitable for supporting rapid and informed decision-making in airport management environments.

Synectics Transport and Infrastructure divisional director Greg Alcorn said: “Developing trusted relationships based on a deep understanding of sector and customer needs is the cornerstone of our business proposition, so we are delighted to be able to strengthen our partnership with Jaya Teknik and Soekarno-Hatta with this latest project.”

Since 2015, the company has been working in collaboration with systems integrator Jaya Teknik and PT. AP II with the initial Terminal 3 Ultimate project for Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
